When an entity is added as a client, its own workspace is created in which tasks, digital signatures and documents specifically relating to the entity can be shared and saved securely.
By sending documents and tasks to the entity's workspace, the entity can be clearly separated from the individual's portal, allowing for greater organisation and visibility over specific tasks and Class integration data.
Note: If your business uses the Class integration, client records will be created automatically in myprosperity whenever a sync is run. There’s no need to manually add clients who already exist in Class—these records will be imported for you as part of the integration process.
To add an entity as a client:
- Navigate to the Clients > Client list and select 'Add Clients'>'Entity Client'
- A slide-out window will populate. Enter the Entity name and select the Entity type from the dropdown list. Click 'Add'.
Entity types available: Company, Partnership, Sole Trader, Super fund, Trust, SAF or Other.
- The entity will now be added as a client, and is accessible via the Client list, or by using the search bar.
