The client's portal includes a dedicated document storage area where you can securely and reliably upload all of that client's documents for easy access and safekeeping. With the flexibility to create custom folders, you can organise documents in a way that aligns with your workflow, making it easier to manage and retrieve files when needed.
How to add a sub folder
To add a folder
- To add a folder for a specific client use the search bar located in the header of your portal and select the client or navigate to 'Clients' in the left-side navigation panel and click the blue hyperlink for the client you'd like to view.
- Once the client is selected, navigate to 'Docs' from the left-side navigation menu.
- In the Docs area, click 'Create folder'.
- A pop-up window appears. Enter a name for your new folder and click 'OK'.
- A confirmation message will display, and the newly created folder will appear in the documents list.
How to add a Sub Folder
Once a folder is created, you can add subfolders within it to further organise your documents. Subfolders can also contain additional folders if you’d like to create more levels of structure.
- In the Docs area, click on the folder you'd like to add a sub folder in.
- You'll then be taken within that folder. Select 'Create folder' from the top-right of screen.
- A pop-up will then open. Give the sub folder a name, and click 'Add'.

The sub folder will then show on screen, with a confirmation message confirming it's addition to the folder.
Note: Adding a subfolder within an existing subfolder follows the same process—open the subfolder, click 'Create Folder', and continue as needed to build additional sub folders.
Rename a Folder
- In the Docs area, click on the 3 dots under 'Actions' for the folder.
- A drop-down menu will appear, select 'Rename'.
- A pop-up will appear; edit the name of the folder as required and then hit 'OK'
- The renamed folder will now show in the documents list, and a success message will populate at the bottom of screen.
Delete a Folder
- In the Docs area, click on the 3 dots under 'Actions' for the folder.
- A drop-down menu will appear, select 'Delete'.
- A notification pop-up will appear. Please note that if you proceed, any documents or subfolders within the selected folder will also be deleted. It's recommended to review the folder beforehand and move any files or subfolders you wish to keep.
To continue with the deletion, click 'Confirm'. - A confirmation message will then populate, confirming that the folder has been successfully deleted.
